More Information
Summary:A questionnaire was submitted to entrepreneurial and agricultural subjects in different NUTS II regions of the Czech Republic in order to determine the factors limiting the development of rural tourism. Nowadays, approximately 1,000 of entrepreneurs work in the area of rural tourism services. Between 28,000 and 38,000 people spend their holiday at farms every year. The main factors limiting the development of rural tourism are as follows: lack of money resulting from insufficient state subsidies, lack of information how to obtain the subsidies, inaccessibility of these subsidies by small businesses, insufficient legislation, bureaucracy, bad infrastructure, and little experience in providing such services.
