A 75-km single-mode fiber transmission experiment at 565 Mbit/s using cost-effective constituents
Transmission at 565 Mbit/s over 75 km of low-cost matched-cladding (MC) single-mode fibers has been realized with state-of-the-art 1300-nm buried-heterostructure lasers. The terminal equipments are adapted from coaxial transmission systems.
