Summary:The joint influence of solution temperature, stress states and sulfur ions on the CO2 corrosion behavior of N80 tubing steel, were investigated by using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results showed that the addition of sulfur ions into the solution and with the introducing of stress into carbon steel can decrease the protective effect of the corrosion scale on the substrate at low temperature; and the protective effect enhances at high temperatures. The corrosion scale formed on N80 steel in stratum water containing sulfur ions are mainly consisted of FeCO3 and FeS.
