Summary:The purpose of this study is to describe the high-resolution CT findings of varicella-zoster pneumonia in three immunocompetent patients. High-resolution CT findings of varicella-zoster pneumonia include nodules, nodules with surrounding ground-glass attenuation, patchy ground-glass attenuation, and coalescence of nodules; the disappearance of these features on imaging studies corresponded to healing of skin lesions in patients after antiviral chemotherapy.
