Summary:This paper compares four LPV identification methods: local, global, and glocal, for flutter prediction and modeling. Important properties of the methods are highlighted and simulations are performed to compare the performance, using a bending-torsion flutter model from literature. Results show that a trade-off between bias and variance exists for the local and global method, after which a glocal method can further improve performance.
