Highlights • The short-term Tac regimen for GVHD prophylaxis could decrease the incidence of aGVHD. • The short-term Tac regimen didn’t affect the incidences of cGVHD, relapse and infection. • The mechanism relies on the change of T cells within 3 months after transplantation.
