Effects of 1-year treatment with fluvastatin or pravastatin on bone

A study conducted to investigate whether the usual doses of stains affect bone metabolism and bone mass is discussed. The effects on bone of pravastatin, which is hydrophilic, and fluvastatin, which is lipophilic, were compared.
