Summary:Ride the (micro)wave: The title strategy has been developed for the synthesis of various symmetric or unsymmetric hydroxylated stilbenoids utilizing 4‐halophenols and acrylic acid as coupling partners (see scheme; DMA=N,N‐dimethylacetamide, MW=microwave). Protecting groups are not necessary and a single palladium catalyst is used.
