Summary:In a study of 28 patients suffering from a wide variety of diseases, the kallikrein-trypsin inactivator Trasylol (FBA) was found to have an inhibitory action on the serum cholinesterase 30 minutes after the administration of the drug. The average fall in serum cholinesterase at this time was 25.4 per cent. Values had returned to normal levels at 60 minutes.
