Summary:Skin examination of the trunk revealed erythematous infiltrated plaques with lupoid appearance at diascopy (figure, A), hypertrophy of sublingual salivary glands, dry syndrome, and moderate to intense bone pain, consistent with skin sarcoidosis. Laboratory tests showed polyclonal gamma-globulin elevation (15·8 g/L) with no other abnormalities, including erythrocyte sedimentation rate, C-reactive protein, angiotensin-converting enzyme, lactate dehydrogenase, carcinoembryonic antigen, and CA 15-3 antigen. Patient management requires multidisciplinary approaches with dermatologists, internists, oncologists, and anatomopathologists to enable accurate definitive diagnosis.
