Search for the Standard Model Higgs boson at CMS

A search has been performed for the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson in different production modes and decay channels. The results are based on up to 5 fb−1 of 7 TeV and up to 20 fb−1 of 8 TeV proton-proton collisions data accumulated by the CMS experiment at LHC in 2011 and 2012. Additionally severa...

Summary:A search has been performed for the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson in different production modes and decay channels. The results are based on up to 5 fb−1 of 7 TeV and up to 20 fb−1 of 8 TeV proton-proton collisions data accumulated by the CMS experiment at LHC in 2011 and 2012. Additionally several tests have been done to check the compatibility of the observed state with the SM Higgs boson.
