Summary: | The collidal bimentalic nanoparticles of ZnO-Ag were prepared by laser ablation technqiue. The sysenthized bimetalic nanoparticles were characterized by UV–Vis spectrophotometry, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDX), Raman spectroscopy, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), and Photo-Luminescence (PL). These techniques confirmed the formation of the bimetalic nanocompiste and showed that the size distribution of the synthesized bimetallic nanoparticles varied from 30 to 130 nm. The anticancer activity was validated by measuring the cell cytotocicty by MTT (3-(4, 5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-Diphenyltetrazolium Bromide) test applying HCT-116 and HELA cancer cell line. The cell lines’ sensitivity was the highest at 10 µg/mL of ZnO-Ag composite. This indicates that the bimetallic composite ZnO-Ag prepared by laser ablation technique is suitable for cancer treatment. |
