Summary:The design, fabrication and evaluation of a set of micro antennas (ANTs) on chip is described. The size of the ANTs is <1 mm 2 and has been chosen with a view to the development of a monolithic implantable sensor for in vivo dosimetry which is the ultimate focus of this project. Three different designs are currently being investigated, with a view to evaluate their RF performances in the communication-standard Medical Implant Communication Service (MICS) frequency band.
