Is decavanadate a specific inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor antagonist?

We find that decavanadate competitively antagonizes inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate-induced Ca super(2+) mobilization from permeabilized SH-SY5Y human neuroblastoma cells.
