Summary:This paper presents the design and analysis of spatially coupled low-density parity-check (SC-LDPC) codes for Gaussian multiple access channel (GMAC). For two-user GMAC, we consider that each user encodes their messages by SC-LDPC codes while joint belief propagation decoding is considered at the receiver. We present low complexity density evolution analysis of SC-LDPC GMAC codes and show simple optimisation procedure. For the asymptotic case, we observe that SC-LDPC code-based GMAC code outperforms existing irregular LDPC code-based GMAC code.
