On computing the Chandrasekhar polynomials in high order and high degree
The polynomials g m l (⩞) introduced by Chandrasekhar in regard to a discrete- ordinates solution of the radiative transfer equation are discussed, and methods for evaluating these polynomials accurately in high order and high degree on the real line are reported.
