Summary: | Electron spin dephasing is studied by time-resolved Kerr rotation in n-type modulation-doped CdMnTe quantum wells with very dilute Mn content. We find good agreement between measured and calculated electron spin relaxation times, considering relaxation induced by fluctuating exchange field created by the Mn spins, and taking into account inhomogeneous heating of the Mn spins by laser pulses. |
