Summary:Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common chronic affection of the hip joint that causes permanent pain that interferes with the normal physical and psychological functioning of patients, thus, compromising their quality of life [1,2]. Patients with refractive OA pain to stronger pharmacologic options, minimally invasive procedures including intraarticular injections, or to surgical alternatives like arthroplasties could benefit from pulsed or ablative radiofrequency (RF) of sensory branches of major nerves innervating the hip joint [1,2]. Three months after the procedure, the level of pain was 0–1/10 for both patients with no need for opioid analgesics and subjective improvement in the quality of life.
