Summary:The genus Ametastegia Costa, 1882 was studied. Eight species are recorded for the first time in Korean fauna: A. acutiserrula Wei, 1999, A. cheni (Wei 2003), A. geranii (Takeuchi 1929), A. longicornis (Takeuchi 1929), A. nigroclypea Wei, 2003, A. sinica Wei, 1998, A. tenera (Fallén 1808), and A. tibialis Wei, 2003. The males of A. longicornis and A. tibialis are first discovered and described. A key to the 10 Korean Ametastegia species along with diagnoses, variation, photographs of the diagnostic characters, distribution, and recorded hosts for each species are provided.
