Summary:The possibility of anionic synthetic surfactants removal from petrochemical enterprises wastewater using waste of thermal power plants (carbonate sludge) as a sorption material has been investigated. The efficiency of carbonate sludge for the sorption of anionic synthetic surfactants has been established. The use of an adsorption plant (with carbonate sludge as a sorbent) for the wastewater treatment from anionic synthetic surfactants at treatment facilities of enterprises will make it possible to carry out biological wastewater treatment more efficiently, reduce the costs of wastewater neutralization and reduce the anthropogenic load on water reservoirs.
