The structures of the new compounds, named helixosides A and B, were established as 3- O-β- D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-β- D-glucopyranosyl hederagenin 28- O-β- D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β- D-glucopyranosyl ester, and 3- O-β- D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-β- D-glucopyranosyl oleanolic acid 28- O-β- D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β- D-glucopyranosyl ester, respectively, on the basis of chemical and spectral data.
