Summary: | Nineteen years ago, as I was driving home from a hospital in Phoenix, a talk-radio program was airing on my car radio. Jocelyn, who had watched her mother die of breast cancer, underwent a modified radical mastectomy for a 2 cm tumor. At these meetings, I trained in relaxation and meditation techniques that I still use to self-treat symptoms of stress and fatigue.
