Summary:Intermediate results of work in a shadowgraphic characterization program of a layer of hydrogen isotopes in an indirect-drive cryogenic target are presented. The target is a spherical shell with a cryogenic layer of hydrogen isotopes frozen on its inner surface and is designed for laser-driven fusion studies at the facility of megajoule energies. It is necessary to perform target characterization for compliance with the required parameters before a laser shot at the target.
