Summary:Results are provided for a comprehensive study of the thermal stability, composition, and properties of sin-gle-fraction fuzed material produced by OAO Dinur and supporting suppliers before and after heat treatment at 1400°C. A favorable effect of firing on reducing macro-and microstructural defects of fuzed grains and a significant increase in thermal stability is established for materials (apart from silica glass).
