Grindelane derivatives by microbial transformation
The microbial transformation of grindelic acid by a culture of Aspergillus niger produced 3-ketogrindelic acid and the known grindelanes: 18-hydroxygrindelic acid, 7α,8α-epoxygrindelic acid and methyl-3-β-hydroxygrindelate.
