Experimental Studies of Longitudinal Demixing of Plasma Components in a Wall-stabilized Arc

We report observations of demixing effects caused by the electric field in a wall‐stabilized arc operated at atmospheric pressure in helium with small admixture of CO2 introduced in the central part of the arc column.
