Summary:Dislocation of a testicle away from its normal scrotal location following blunt perineal trauma is an unusual complication that has rarely been reported in the published medical literature. The testis gets dislocated within an area circumscribed by a circle centered on the external inguinal ring, varying from the commonest superficial ring to rarest locations like acetabulum. Dislocation of the testis to root of the penis is one of the rarer locations. We report one such case of delayed presentation of traumatic dislocation of testis to the ventral penile shaft and discuss the reported literature.
