Summary:A number of new imidazole-coumarin structures have been synthesised under conventional heating and MW irradiation methods. Structures of all synthesized compounds are characterized by IR, NMR and Mass spectra. The title compounds have been tested for their antimicrobial activity against bacteria Bacillus subtilis , Staphylococcus aureus , Escherichia coli , and Klebsiella pneumonia as well as fungi Aspergillus Niger , Aspergillus flavus , and Fusarium oxysporum . Several products have exhibited antimicrobial activity against all organisms.
