Steam Volatiles of Vaccinium arctostaphylos

The essential oil constituents of the flowering aerial parts of Vaccinium arctostaphylos L. (Ericaceae) were analysed by GC/MS. Twenty-six compounds, constituting 80.43 % of the oil, were identified. The major compounds are alphaterpineol (14.99 %) and linalool (13.7 %).
