Solubilities of nickel oxide in molten carbonate

Dissolution of NiO cathodes in molten carbonate shortens life of molten carbonate fuel cells. Solubility increases with CO sub 2 pressure and decreases with Li concentration and temp., but is insensitive to water vapor and O sub 2 pressure.
