On uniqueness theorems for second order inverse eigenvalue problems

Two uniqueness theorems are presented for second order inverse eigenvalue problems where the differential equation is given in Liouville normal form. These theorems assume that boundary conditions are known. Uniqueness is achieved from knowledge of a “reduced” set of spectral data.
