Summary:This paper focuses on the design of distributed control related to distributed mechanical systems. The sensors and actuators are assumed to be numerous and periodically distributed. The problem addressed in this paper is: 'Can we find a way to approximate an optimal control law with a distributed electronic circuit for vibration reduction?'. Solutions to this problem are proposed in the framework of vibration control using piezoelectric actuators and sensors.
