Ionic levels of the gallbladder bile of some teleosts from the Rio Negro, Amazon

The ionic levels of the gallbladder bile of 23 species of teleosts from the Rio Negro, Amazon, were analysed. Ionic levels of the gallbladder bile were variable according to the species and could not be related to the feeding habit or fullness of the gut.
