Study of Fractures and Vugs in Carbonate Reservoirs

A new technique of studying fractured and vuggy carbonate reservoirs is presented. It involves saturation of cubic cores (5 × 5 × 5 cm) with luminescent material (luminophore). Several examples of Russian carbonate reservoir rocks are given.
