Subjects
196 individuals admitted to the São José Infectious Diseases Hospital with suspected dengue infection. Dengue was confirmed in 111 of the patients. The control group consisted of 85 other individuals confirmed without dengue.
Results
It was demonstrated that the presence the T allele of
IL1β
