Summary:We describe a girl with lupus nephritis who presented with distal renal tubular acidosis and hyporeninemic hypoaldosteronism. While distal tubular dysfunction is well recognized in adult systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), only a few pediatric patients have been reported.
