Effect of synthesis method on the long-range order of the space charge type in 0.75PFW–0.25PT ceramics

In this paper, 0.75Pb(Fe 2/3W 1/3)O 3–0.25PbTiO 3(0.75PFW–0.25PT) ceramics are synthesized by two different methods, the conventional direct oxide synthesized (DS) method and the two-step indirect synthesized (IS) method. The low-field dielectric response is investigated by using the empirical law,...

Summary:In this paper, 0.75Pb(Fe 2/3W 1/3)O 3–0.25PbTiO 3(0.75PFW–0.25PT) ceramics are synthesized by two different methods, the conventional direct oxide synthesized (DS) method and the two-step indirect synthesized (IS) method. The low-field dielectric response is investigated by using the empirical law, the ordering model and the space charge polarization. Due to the IS method, the degree of diffused phase transition is decreased, the space charge polarization is enhanced and the dielectric loss is increased. Therefore, it is concluded that the ordering degree of B-site cations is enhanced based on the space charge type by using the IS synthesized method.
