Interaction between components in Hf–Cu–Sb ternary system at 770 K

The isothermal section of the phase diagram of the Hf–Cu–Sb ternary system at 770 K in the whole concentration range has been constructed by means of X-ray analysis. Four ternary intermetallic compounds Hf 2CuSb 3 (ST Zr 2CuSb 3), HfCu 2.73Sb 1.86 (own ST), Hf 5CuSb 3 (ST Hf 5CuSn 3) and Hf 5Cu 0.45...

Summary:The isothermal section of the phase diagram of the Hf–Cu–Sb ternary system at 770 K in the whole concentration range has been constructed by means of X-ray analysis. Four ternary intermetallic compounds Hf 2CuSb 3 (ST Zr 2CuSb 3), HfCu 2.73Sb 1.86 (own ST), Hf 5CuSb 3 (ST Hf 5CuSn 3) and Hf 5Cu 0.45Sb 2.55 (ST W 5Si 3) are formed in this system. New HfCu 2.73Sb 1.86 antimonide crystallizes with hexagonal structure (space group P6 3/ mmc, a = 0.42603(4) nm, c = 1.51139(3) nm).
