Summary:Nowadays, one of the most important tasks when creating marine gas-turbine engines is development of heat-resistant nickel-based alloys simultaneously possessing high strength properties at operating temperatures and high resistance to marine salt corrosion. The paper presents the results of work on creation of a new high-strength nickel-based alloy which exhibits both a high level of heat resistance typical for aviation alloys (σ1001000=190-200 MPa) and corrosion resistance exceeding the values of conventional corrosion resistant nickel-based alloys ChS70, ChS88, In738 and others. The results of structure examination are presented. They show the qualitative characteristics in morphology of strengthening γ'-phase precipitates, absence of TCP-phase trace elements and high structural stability.
