Summary:An increase in the number of attacks of social engineering on users of protected information systems of organizations and a decrease in user resilience to them is revealed. The necessity of developing tools for protecting organizations from social engineering attacks is substantiated and the possibility of solving this problem using machine learning technologies is considered. The results of the development of a resilience scanner, a software application for testing employees of an organization to increase their resilience to attacks of social engineering, are described. Its multifunctionality is shown (detection of user vulnerability, increasing their involvement in the process of detecting social engineering attacks and in the formation of an organization’s information security culture), as well as the prospects for further development.
