In plastic surgery, endoscopic release of the carpal tunnel and endoscopic face-lifting have been used clinically. However, no report has been noted that deals with the bone of the face. Using pigs as the animal model, endoscopic resection of the mandibular angles was undertaken. The result was satisfactory; it appears that it can also be effective in humans. |
