This paper analyzes the most cited and published articles internationally, indexed in Scopus, addressing corruption and emerging markets. It can target the articles in three periods: 2000–2002 which is characterized by inserting the discussion of corruption directed to emerging markets (effervescence); 2003–2005, characterized by the consolidation of the discussion related to corruption and with a strong theoretical connotation (theoretical basis); and 2006–2010, characterized by discussion about corruption in more focused and specific situations (theoretical maturity). There was a predominance of an empirical and quantitative approach and analysis by regression in the quantitative and a literature revision in the qualitative. |
