Summary: | Environmental estrogen could mimic natural estrogens thereby disrupting the endocrine systems of human and animals. The actions of such endocrine disruptors have been studied mainly on reproduction and development. To explore the estrogenic effects of NP by reporter genebased assays we developed. pERE-GFP plamid was generated by inserting estrogen response element fragment into pGADD153-GFP. the recombinant was confirmed by restriction enzyme map and transfected into SPC-A1 cells to ensure the expression of green fluorescent protein.The assay we established in usful, NP could induce the estrogenic activities at any of the tested concentrations. |
