Summary:We report one of the unusual presentations of disseminated gonococcal infection. This case report describes a 24-year-old woman who presented with disseminated gonococcal infection manifesting as meningitis. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and throat swab PCR were positive for Neisseria gonorrhoeae . Blood and CSF cultures were negative for bacterial growth. The patient was treated with a total of 14 days of intravenous ceftriaxone. She was discharged with no neurological sequelae.
