Multiple deformation effect on the ductility of chromium

The multiple deformation effect has been discovered on the ductility of high-purity polycrystalline chromium. The ductility of Cr in air is strongly enhanced by the multiple deformation. However, such an effect has never been observed in molybdenum and tungsten.
