Gold inlay failures and some causes

Failure of any restoration for any cause is a disagreeable experience for both the patient and the dentist. Failure of a gold inlay is even more so since the cost of this service is greater and the time consumed in remaking is costly to both patient in time and the dentist in time and expense.
