Deformations of Jordan algebras of dimension four

We study the variety Jor4 of four-dimensional Jordan algebras on k4, for k an algebraically closed field of characteristic ≠2. We describe its irreducible components and prove that Jor4 is the union of Zariski closures of the orbits of 10 rigid algebras.
