Summary:The purpose of the current investigation is to present the results of the model, which allows obtaining the temperature distribution in a spherical sample of porous clay for the processes of rapid drying (heating) and freezing (cooling). Solutions are one-dimensional non-linear temperature distributions for each point in time. The temperature of the external surface of the sample was set equal to the ambient temperature.
