Summary: | A vibration-based sphere-pack technology employing large and small particles is discussed on the basis of a simulation of the fabrication of an atomic fuel pin, by employing four types of model particle. The infiltration property is almost free from the material and mass density. From this result, the feasibility of mixing with the heavy metallic uranium as the getter of absorbing oxygen, thereby preventing the oxidization of the fuel pin, is suggested. |
