A stress analysis in spring cantilever bridges

A stress analysis in spring cantilever bridges has been given based on accepted engineering principles. Experimental work confirmed observations made on patients as shown by X-ray photographs. Some of the limitations of this type of bridge have thus become clearer against the known advantages.
